26% of LGBTQ+ youth who come out to their parents are told to leave home. The holidays are a really hard time not to have support, a family, a home & warm meals. A portion of the proceeds for this event are being donated to support thanksgiving/holiday meals for LGBTQ+ folx, especially youth, who need some extra support. Notice the X in “Thanx” - In the LGBTQ+ community, the X represents the opportunity for inclusion - it creates gender neutrality for non-binary identifying people (i.e. folx, womxn, latinx, etc).
